Balboa Bay has dominated boys club volleyball for the past 15 years. This year we will bring our coaches, high-level training, and culture to Orange County girls volleyball. This is a great opportunity to learn volleyball from some of the top men’s coaches in the country.
Teachers Make Better Coaches
It is our belief that high school teachers make the best coaches. This belief has served us well with the Balboa Bay Boys program as reflected in our success. All of our age group leaders on the boys side are life-long high school teachers who are trained to bring out the best in young people.
History Of Balboa Bay
We are in the process of organizing our rich volleyball history including 87 Junior National Medals on the boys side. On the girls side, we are in the process of writing the first chapter of this new endeavor.
We are NOT just a boys club
In July 2020, Balboa Bay made the decision to bring our knowledge and training philosophies to girls club volleyball. With the increased physicality of the women's game, it makes sense to bring our knowledge and training experiences to girl’s volleyball. This will be the formula for our success.
