Our rich 40+ year history and a continual production of both championship teams and college-bound athletes are incomparable. Balboa Bay Volleyball Club welcomes all athletes who wish to carry on our tradition of elite southern California volleyball.
Teachers Make Better Coaches
It is our belief that high school teachers make the best coaches. This belief has served us well with the Balboa Bay Boys program as reflected in our success. All of our age group leaders on the boy’s side are life-long high school teachers who are trained to bring out the best in young people.
History of Balboa Bay
We are in the process of organizing our rich volleyball history including 87 Junior National Medals on the boy’s side. On the girl’s side, we are in the process of writing the first chapter of this new endeavor.
Players at the next level
Balboa Bay features a rich history of players at the collegiate level. This year we have 25+ athletes playing college volleyball from NCAA to NAIA to JC Volleyball.
